While closing thousands of eSign loans, we’ve been listening to what many of you have had to say about making eSign closings even better. Throughout 2008, we will introduce the following eSign enhancements designed with you and your borrower in mind.
- Toll-free eSign Hotline – eSign troubleshooting or technical advice will be just a call away.
- Gemstone Upload – from Gemstone, you will be able to digitally “upload” many of the documents you currently fax or overnight to AmTrust.
- eSign Back Up Plan – have peace of mind that the complete paper closing package will be just a click away if necessary.
- Certified eSign Closing Agents – we have closing agents and notaries who you can trust to have the necessary eSign equipment and experience to make the state-of-the-art closing fast and easy for your borrower.
- Online Closing Agent Approval – esignmortgage.com will be enhanced to allow new Closing Agents to apply for access to Gemstone.
- Gemstone Access for Remote Closings* – Gemstone access for roving notaries that will allow more remote closings to be executed with eSign technology.
- Forgot Your Password – a link will be added to the login screen allowing you to reset your password without contacting your Gemstone Administrator.
Enhancements to documents...
- More “Bundled” Documents – fewer clicks will be needed as more eDocs will be bundled together and signed with just one click.
- More Documents for Electronic Signature – your small stack of “wet signed” documents will get smaller as more paper documents are converted to eligible eSign eDocs.
- Non Borrowing Signer – – Loans closing with a person who is not named as a co-borrower will be eligible for eSign.
- More eSign-Eligible Loan Programs – Portfolio Fixed eSign documents coming soon.
- Texas eSign Documents – Texas closing documents will soon be available on Gemstone, as a result, your borrowers will also be able to sign their closing documents electronically utilizing eSign.
